HIS STORY!
After reading about Rapid Dating on the internet, I decided to give it a try, so on April 23rd, 2002, I arrived at the Sheraton Universal in Universal City about 20 minutes early to check out the "Embarrassment Quotient." Hmm, not too bad, most everyone looked normal (of course, who knows how I looked to them), so I decided to while away the last 15 minutes at the patio bar...and that's when it happened.
His identity forever unknown, a marvelously ill-mannered man cut in front of a dark-haired woman at the bar who was trying to flag the bartender. Very rude, so I approached the woman from behind, her face still unseen, and when she finally had a chance to order her drink, I told the bartender to put in on my tab, at which point she turned around, smiled a dazzling "thank you" and that forever changed my life.
She was gorgeous, very at-ease and easy to be with and she was actually there for the same event! We chatted until Rapid Dating started, and as fate had it, she was the last woman scheduled to "visit" my table, a perfect set-up for a follow-up invitation for a Citywalk snack. She accepted, and when she ordered fried peanut butter and jelly at B.B. King's, I knew this beautiful brunette had real potential.
Nine months later at 12:01 AM, December 8th, 2002, the peanut butter and jelly paid off on Catalina Island under a canopy of stars when Denise accepted my proposal. Thank you Rapid Dating, thank you Renee and now and forever, I Love You, Denise!

HER STORY!
I heard of Rapid Dating on the radio, friends, and of course the great and exciting story on the news that made me really want to try it. It sounded like a lot of FUN! So, I had a girlfriend at work that wanted to go too and we signed up. At last minute she cancelled. I went by my self anyway not expecting to meet anyone but just to have fun. Well, there he was before it all began with a smile that entranced me, buying me a drink. I had to go through all the others first to finally meet him at the last table of the evening. I have never met such a caring, stable, intelligent, and wonderful man with an amazing family before. He was the one! He proposed to me eight months later, and I couldn’t let this treasure go. Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to meet. If it wasn’t for your organization, I would not have had the chance to meet my wonderful husband.

“Thank you again for helping me to find an amazing woman with whom I currently have a great relationship. A few years ago, I had attended several of your Rapid Dating events in Santa Monica, and met a number of attractive, quality women, but nothing was working out. My instincts told me I was doing something wrong, so I contacted you for a make-over. After a coaching session about my Rapid Dating techniques when first meeting someone, you suggested a radical physical make-over and some wardrobe changes to update my stodgy attire. The effect was immediate! Women on the street began to smile and flirt with me! You also helped me to redecorate my condo to make it more "woman-friendly.
When the next Rapid Dating event came around for the 40 to 55 age group, I signed up. At the event I had a great time, and really hit it off with one particular woman, Sally. The next day I received my matches, and got 5, a new record for me, no doubt due to my new look. But wait!!! Sally was not one of my matches... how could this be? I began to doubt my ability to understand women, but this had seemed so obvious! I called your office to check and see if there was a mistake. I was told that Sally had checked no. Reluctantly, I called a couple of the other women, and made a date for the weekend with one of them. Unbeknownst to me, at the same time, Sally was also calling to see why I wasn't one of her matches... she couldn't believe it either! She was told that she had checked "NO" next to my name. "What?" she said.... "It's a mistake. I must have meant to check the one before his name." It was suggested that if she wanted to change her vote, that would be OK. "YES!" she said. We both received e-mails with each other's contact information, and I called her while she was sending me an e-mail.
We made a date for that weekend, and have been seeing each other 4 or 5 times a week ever since. It's been almost 3 years now, and it's just getting better. We are both over 50, and veterans of long-term marriages. It is possible to find love again. We are now living together and very happy!”

 **We got Engaged!**
I just got engaged to my sweetie Angelique whom I met at your RapidDating event on August 13, 2003 at Prego in Irvine. It was my second time at RapidDating, the first having yielded no results. She was so nervous that she drove into and then exited the Prego parking lot twice and started to drive back home, then got up the courage and did one more U-turn which would bring her into my life forever. Our first date was two days later, where we'd planned on just meeting for coffee, but ended up then going to see the movie "S.W.A.T." (how romantic?). We got engaged, in a helicopter, on our 18 month anniversary of meeting at RapidDating! We are very happy and planning on getting married in August2005 ! We are very grateful. Thank you very much!

 “It took several visits to Rapid Dating events to find Janet. I learned to show up for a fun social evening with no expectations. But I was meeting people with a common goal of finding someone to share life with. It's perfect! I usually arrived early to mingle... it seems that's where some of the best connections are made! Janet and I were ordering at the bar and discovered our common Midwestern roots. I had several good connections with women that evening... but toward the end of the table rotations I hadn't been placed with Janet. We made eye contact from across the room... and ended up across from each other on the last sitting of the evening. We picked up our conversation like old friends. She was thirsty but didn't have a glass. I insisted she drink straight from my Pellegrino bottle.... she says that effort to make her feel comfortable sealed the deal for her. Interesting!
We met at the Overland Cafe for lunch that weekend... then a movie two days later. Motorcycling... skating... movies... dinner... shopping.... the list of things we like to do together is continually growing.
